teacher efficacy:  how are we leading our staffs to a shift in culture
        how do we know that students are learning?   can students make up work?
        do students know that it is ok to fail?
           longitudinal case studies of students over middle school or high school?
           math can be a gate keeper or a gate opener;  is it about control?  is it about their values
            what do we want for all of our kids;  what does success look like?
            give them more opportunities to engage in cohorts and articulate
 
            when you work with those teachers do you have an asset based mindset
            do we have a common vision in our departments?
