Nov Training Course report

Training course proposal

Julie Burdick:  share sensei's spirit and greatness in society.  not because of all the doctorits he received, but because of the type of land he was able to create.

Steve Mortan:
Other organizations shared how their org changed when they united 4-divisionally and each person standing up

PI message crystalizes the heart of this movement
Mrs. Yokota:  SGI Vice WD Leader:  small gathering; shared yd shak and next year promote the pub promotion.  Her advice:  based on the front lines:  first thing is do your best to read the pubs yourself; be familiar with content.  read parts of HR in Disc meetings and read PI guidance with members when HV;  3rd:  enc members to subscribe:  point at photos in pubs and share how wonderful it is; prmoting WT is not easy, just like doing shak.  every year each members in SG make deter how many subscriptions

taking care of children:  she has 3 children all leaders in SG,  its so imp that we really pray that our children become greater successors than ourselves.  how much they can serve others.  each child has their own unique mission.  we to pray that they can fulfill their own mission.  unity of mother/father and the family to raise the children

Jason Lyons:  our focus for rest of the year.  achieved 3000:  west terr  1111 youth on Nov 3;  1167 + 50 more confirmed this weekend;  continue doing shak.  nearly 10% of the new youth so far confirmed to take the exam.

Cliff:
Pres. Harada:  great hall and the joju gohonzon.  what is the heart of this facility is nothing but the fighting spirits of the 3 founding pres.  this hall represents how sensei was able to accomplish every vision that PT and PM.  represents the victory of m/d.  this hall is where we honor our 3 mentors.  in 1953 moved HQ to Shinanomachi.  when that move occurred Pres T build presidents room to honor makiguchi.  never forget the debt of gratitude.  he would enshrine the special joju gohonzon on the same floor as presidents room (smaller than toda's office)  PI also rebuilt the presidents room.  PI learning from his mentor.  His office smaller.  Than on 3rd floor enshrined this joju gohonzon.  created the 3 presidents room;  same size rooms and same floor.  hall of the great vow:  reminds of the m/d and the origins of the peace movement.  this is not a holy place to do pilgramiges.  is a place to refresh and relearn our spirit.   HR Vol 12:  sensei's heart and determination:  1951 PT inaug.  requested this gohonzon::  fulfillment of KR, etc.  orig of PT battle for 750,000 hh.  "as the heir to toda's legacy..... destiny to take full resp for org future...." 1941-1942

path of kr is correct path for happiness
path of sgi:  nd taught us how to live right as a hb.  we have to walk this path; believe in this path and walk the straight path toward enlightenment.  never go astray and take the wrong path.  to follow us is to directly connect them to sensei's lead
all beings are endowed with the buddha nature without exception.  same respect as you would a buddh.  you should treasure fellow members with this spirit.  never be arrogant.  deeply cherish others.  our joy is from seeing others happiness.

1.  leaders must always polish their own lives.  struggle and win over our weaknesses.  crack shell of lesser self
2.  be in high spirits to show justice of sensei; heart always be positive; true nature of a leaders
3.  do your best to encourage precious members so they feel confident to pursue their dreams: as a caring friend, so they feel confident in pursuing their path.  If you become arrogant, the members will depart.  If you try to pretend that you are great, the members will see it.
4.  leaders should always be humble and down to earth. not arrog or dogmatic, never slaken.
5.  help bring forth every members joy and confidence in faith.  Bring forth their potential
6.  each and every indiv is import. Leaders need to wholeheartedly encourage those they come in contact constructive action will bring forth victory for all foster those in immed env
7.  embrace everyone with caring and warm consideration; devote yourself to the members happiness so all are moved by your dedication
8.  please have profound understanding of the challenges of each person.  don't be cold hearted.  never betray the members or make them feel sad.  Sensei gives this guidance as a way to live as a genuine leader and a human being.
