Akemi asked Mrs. Osano re: guidance when in the USA:  How can we really respond to this?
The challenge that each member put into practice Sensei's guidance and experience it so share with joy based on own experience.


Famiies, leades and org:  maybe your personal life may not be together; don't want to face personal problems but enjoy activities.  Creating a harmonious family really is KR.
When you recommend leades, important to look into their family situation.  While trying to build org., still look into their family and guide them.
If you try to force children to practice, they will rebel.
Mrs. Ikeda good example:  don't worry, I wll chant for you.
Spending time with your children and your husband is KR.
Not just repeating Faith for Harmonious Family as a slogan.
Foster successors in the org and in your own homes.

What's your prime point with Sensei:  1971:  PI is always in the midst of storms of obstacles.  This was when he created the future division.  And she was able to meet Sensei.  She said her parents practiced, but didn't have a strong practice.  She was afraid to meet him maybe, he would ask hard questions.  I want you all to be really great individuals.  What do you think is a great person?  Not just president of ....  A person who can lead others.  Please challenge yourself even one more step.  He was so down to earth and encouraged everyone.  She was inspired and felt she wanted to be a disciple of Sensei.  Then she went on to graduate from universty and become staff right in 1979 when PI stepped down.  Everyone missed him.  Then he said I am still SGI president and went overseas.  Gave guidance in 1980.  He couldn't get  big entourage, but she went with him.  I witnessed his effort to create 10 years of effort in 1 year. 
She is also the head of the women's peace committee.

Q & A with Pres. Harada
A ymd from India:  What must the youth do now to expand the flow of KR?  Yes KR is not a goal, it is a flow.  The most imp thing for future, is for youth to inherit the spirit of the oneness of m/d.  Foundation of KR constructed through the spirit of the 3 presidents.  All of us must continue to pass that spirit on.
FD leader of Brazil:  In order to dev the eternal flow of KR, what is most imp is for us to become genuine disciples of sensei.  We must pass on the m/d spirit and keep it alive and foster.  What does that mean and look like?
The book the HR: is the guideline for all of us to study the spirit of the development of KR.

Pres Harada accompanied Sensei when he went to the set to encourage the actors.  The actor who was playing Toda who was not a member:  He said:  Daisaku! I have not seen you in a long while too! Actor looking to see how he would react.  Daisaku said:  Pres. Toda I have not see you in a while.
In the car:  Sensei said:  no matter how many disciples of Mak and Toda, I am the only one who actualized it completely then I am the one who has to prove the greatness of Mak and Toda.  Then he understand that reason why the film being made: he wanted to show the greatness of his mentors life.
Time of Pres. Toda's pledge of 750K HH.  PI understood his mentors heart.  E.G.  PI was trying to shak a woman in his neighborhood.  He was able to bring her to receive the Gohonzon and took her to her inauguration. 
So now we have the opporutnity to reply to our mentor by expanding KR through our own efforts.

Throughout the course kept stressing the importance of unity and reciting gosho passages such as:
WND:   217:  All chant with the spirit of unity; fish and water

Message:  This is why I ask you, the rep of your respective SGI org, to further strengthen the bonds of solidarity with one another by exercising good judgment and good terms with one another
You must play a central role in the dev of KR
People are searching for this type of philosophy
Let us raise the banner of the Mystic Law
Set forth a new, grand voyage of KR.  You are all without question the captains of this passage
I call out to each of you, take care of the one person before you. Encourage and empower them.
Encourage those you share special karmic bonds
Do all of this with pride and with friendly competitition
Finally chant daimoku with a conviction so powerful that it will be heard around the world

Felt so encouraged by this training.  Took 82 pages of notes.  Realized her notes are useless if she doesnt fight hard to live PI guidance herself.  That is when the org becomes a living, breathing org.  When we strive to live PI guidance, to do my utmost to live up to his expectations to open up a new era

On behalf of all of you I was able to attend the opening of the great hall of KR
I am confident we practice in the most wonderful org in the world.  It became clear to me.  Please have confidence in the SG.
This hall represents the pinnacle of PI struggle for KR.  The opening of this hall marks 70 years since 2 pres arrested. And 66 years for PI.  Hall is majestic and beautiful.  It is an indestructable testament to the m/d of Soka.
This is a place for us to refresh and renew our vow for KR.  Faith itself is found in the great desire of KR.  Making a vow is the starting point for our mission.  Ask ourselves:  What is our vow?

Mr. Harada:
1.  This hall will be eternally embewed with the fighting spirit of the 3 presidents.  How PI actualized every vision of Mak and Toda.
2.  This hall, this HQ, is where the 3 SG presidents will be eternally honored.  P Toda built the pres room on the 3rd floor.  Listen and visualize the heart of the disciple.  Today made his own office smaller than the pres room.  Goh enshrined on same floor as the pres room.
Then in new HQ, PI presidents room on 3rd floor to honor P Mak and Toda: same size as previous pres room.  Made his office smaller and Goh enshrined on 3rd floor
New Hall:  called 3 Presidents room; same size;  3rd floor on the hall of the great vow of KR.  Same floor as 1400 seat hall with goh
3.  Hall of the great vow for KR is the grand assembly hall for the people.  A place for them to pray for their HR.  Make this point clear:  while this hall is great, even if you cannot physically visit it, this does not mean that you will miss out on benefit.  This is only a place to refresh our spirit and learn spirit of m/d.  However, each of you make  a personal determination to visit this hall.

She said she learned that even prior to the excommunication from priesthood, PI was wondering what to call our movement in the future

Of course we will have many obstcales to face in the future
Let's have the determination to challenge these alongside PI with determination and joy
Ask each of us: immediately starting now:  Joyfully initiate a fresh vow and new resolve with powerful daimoku.
Confident that victory and actual proof will be ours in both our personal lives and in our organizations
Next year 50 anniverary of WT.  Let's make a goal for 50,000 subscriptions.
So now let's refresh our vow and make a new determination
How can we win during these turbulant times:
Sensei:  Never be defeated by the environment or by yourself.  Please win over yourself and the environment.  This is crystal clear and very elementary.  So many senseless things in the environment:  suicide, murders, depression, natural disasters.  We are never defeated when we determine to win over our obstacles.  We cannot lose when we chant with the conviction that this is a done deal.

Let's take this guidance personally; not just parrot it.  Let's make breakthroughs after breakthroughs and share with others.  Everyone will be happy because we are the ones who are changing.  Show our changes, share with members.  If our life force or life condition deteriorates, people around us will be discouraged.  The key to any victory is to create victory.  What does this look like for me?  Is there unity in my organization, in my family and my job.  We are the ones responsible for creating unity.  Whatever we do every day will either create unity or disunity:  the words that come out of our mouths, our actions, etc.  And also have the stand alone spirit to be the first one to rise up and take on this challenge.  Please, no matter how long you practice, support the SGI activities and movement.

2014: Open a new era;  next year let's resolve to have the best year of our lives.  Let's create a model SGI org by raising one successor after another.
